Learn how to cook Indonesian food from two of best Indonesian chefs

ElliotPetty Elliott: A self-taught chef and one of Indonesia’s foremost food writers and consultants, Petty Elliott has pioneered modern Indonesian cuisine from across the archipelago capturing the traditions, flavours, stories and diversity of the famous Spice Islands.

Her latest cookbook, Jakarta Bites was launched in July 2016, and explores the capital's vibrant street food scene. Jakarta Bites was given the accolade of Best Street Food Book in the World at the Gourmand World Cookbook awards in 2016. Petty, born in North Sulawesi, has an English husband and two grown up sons. She spends her time between the UK and Indonesia.

 

BudionoBudiono Bin Sukim:  Culinary Professional with over 23 years wealthy knowledges spanning from South East Asian, Chinese, Middle east and European cuisine. His career started in early age when Budiono Sukim often helped his grandfather’s kitchen selling “Gulai kambing“ (his hometown lamb curry). Since that first love never fades.

Chef Budiono is always working in 5 star luxury hotel such as Four Seasons (Jakarta, London, Hampshire, Dubai), The Savoy Hotel London and now crafting his expertise back in London with Marriott Hotel County Hall as the Executive Sous Chef.
