Please, we are Indonesians! Really? Why are more and more Indonesians using English words in every day communication?

An old Indonesian proverb says that language is the soul of a nation. However, we hear Indonesians nowadays using English words in almost every sentence they utter.

Why do they do that? Do they feel it is more cool to speak or use English words? Or do they have any other reasons? What would happen if Indonesians couldn't be bothered anylonger to use and maintain their own language? Come and join us to
